Another Reason I Hate Adobe - Adobe Updater Problem
Adobe Acrobat Reader v7.08 is a pretty stable program. My advice is to ALWAYS go into Edit | Preferences | Updates and check “never check for updates”.
Adobe Acrobat update will want you to download and install v8.1.
Some people are reporting that as soon as they update, and reboot - naturally, they are told by the Adobe updater that they need to reboot, again. Then after they reboot, they are told they need to reboot, again. Seeing the problem?
